As we do not have an online appointment booking system, if you are an enrolled patient, please phone 03 982 0168 to make an appointment.
We are a small busy General Practice and generally have one GP seeing patients. This means that at times there is a wait to see a GP of a week. Appointments are for a maximum of 15 minutes. Please be aware that sometimes urgent situations mean that our GPs run behind schedule.
If your need to see a doctor is urgent, you will be asked to speak to a nurse who will assess if your case is an Emergency. We have two to three appointments per half day for Emergencies and these are allocated on the day – not the day before.
WINZ Certificates etc. are not Emergencies. It is best to book your next appointment for these at the same time as having your last one completed.
If you have a mobile number entered in our computer system, you will usually receive a reminder text the day before your appointment. Please let us know if you change your number.
Non Attendance or Late Cancellation fee for all appointments is $5 to $10.
We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee if your appointment is cancelled with less than four hours’ notice. Please phone us as soon as you are able and if we reasonably consider we can offer the appointment to another patient, this may not apply.
Phone prescriptions may be possible if your health is stable and you have been seen within the last three months. Please phone and leave a message on the prescription answering machine. We will phone/text you if we need more information. Some medications cannot be prescribed without appointments and require regular monitoring. If you are on one of these medications, it is a good idea to book your next appointment before you leave the Clinic.
