We reserve some appointment slots each day specifically for urgent matters, including acute illness or injury.
If you feel your health concerns are urgent, please inform reception staff when you telephone to make your appointment.
If you have a mobile number entered in our computer system, you will usually receive a reminder text the day before your appointment. Please let us know if you change your number or physical address.
Non Attendance or Late Cancellation
If you are unable to make an appointment, please phone us as soon as you are able so that we have the time to offer this appointment slot to other patients who may need it. A $10 ‘DNA’ (did not attend) fee is invoiced to your account for appointments that are cancelled with less than three hours notice, or for non-attendance.
Prescription requests will be dealt with within 48 hours of leaving a message. When collecting your script from the medical centre we require payment at time of pick up please.
Sending repeat prescriptions to your pharmacy over the phone may be possible if your health is stable and you have been seen within the last three months. Please phone and leave a message on the prescription answering machine. Reception staff no longer take prescription requests over the phone. When you leave a message on our script line, it is important you give us the following information:
-Full name and date of birth
-The repeat medications you require
-The pharmacy you would like these to be faxed to and your contact telephone number
If you have not been seen by a clinician in the past 3 months, we may ask that you make an appointment instead.
