The Team at The Kingdom Clinic extend aroha to their patients and all residents of Aotearoa at this time. We will offer increased support/tautoko to our patients over the coming days, weeks and months as required. We are blessed to have recently had Cerina, a Nurse Practitioner in Mental Health join our Team. Cerina has a lot of experience in the treatment for grief and trauma.

If you are a patient of the Kingdom Clinic and need support around these events which we are all shaken by, please do not hesitate to phone us on 039820168 to make an appointment or request a phone consult. Please tell the receptionist that this is what you are requiring so we can book you with the most appropriate person. Be aware that our phones may be very busy and we usually only have one receptionist available. Some of our patients may have been closely affected. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you.

There has been a high demand on our services because of the measles outbreak and it is important that we continue to try to contain this and protect those who are not fully immunised.  However, we will follow advice from the CDHB and Pegasus Health on the services we provide in the coming week.

There have been a number of cases of measles confirmed in NZ this year including in Canterbury. There are significant outbreaks overseas.

Find out more here: http://www.immune.org.nz/hot-topic/measles-overseas-and-new-zealand

Those born before 1969 are considered immune to measles. Everyone born in 1969 or later needs to have proof of two doses of MMR after the age of 12 months to be considered immune.

If you are enrolled at Kingdom Clinic and are unsure, please phone us on 039820168 and we can check the records we hold and/or book you a free appointment for your MMR vaccine.

Flu Vaccines 2018

We are getting LOTS of questions about the flu vaccine.

As far as we know it is expected mid April.

We have put in our order for delivery when they arrive and if we have your mobile number we will send you a text when they are in our fridge.

New opening hours

As we don’t have staff to cover reception, we will now be closing for lunch from 1 to 1.30 pm on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

The door will be locked and you will be able to leave a phone message during this time.

It is very important that our staff have a chance to rest and refuel for the rest of the day.

Another change is that between approximately 8.30 am and 9 am, you will now be able to leave a phone message on our phone system before we open.  This will hopefully allow us to return your calls earlier in the day.

Enrolling at the Kingdom Clinic

The Kingdom Clinic is pleased that we can now accept new patients.  However, to keep wait times for our already enrolled patients over the busy winter months to a minimum, there are limited new patient appointments.

To enrol you will either need to make an appointment with one of our General Practitioners or our Nurse Manager at which time you will be asked to complete an enrolment form.  By meeting one of our Team during the enrolment process, we can make sure the Kingdom Clinic can meet your expectations.

Please enquire by contacting us on 982 0168.
